Who is Northern Lights?

Our manufacturing facility is located in Cornwall, Ontario, Canada, just across the St. Lawrence River from upstate New York.

Northern Lights began producing weight resistance equipment in 1991, the majority of which was private-labelled product for other manufacturers. Over time, the line has become well known throughout Canada, while more recently its wide and rapid acceptance in the U.S. has made it one of the strength training brand leaders in North America. In under a year, from the time of its U.S. release, Northern Lights products have become available to American consumers in over 200 retail fitness equipment stores nationwide.

The success of Northern Lights derives from a combination of smart design and a highly advanced production facility. Robotic welding, steel-cutting lasers, powder-coating paint line, custom foam-moulded pads and other technical processes enable our factory to make a superior product. We enjoy better quality control and can explore more creative design possibilities than most other strength equipment manufacturers.
